Looks like the taunt/aggro isn’t working properly, I have tried to taunt and pull mobs for the souls mission but the mobs lose interest after maybe 50m of distance and makes it impossible to do the mission.
You are right, mobs are turning around and running away when they should be following the player who aggroed them. I think this may have been an attempt to stop players from pulling large groups of mobs, but the aggro range seems too small and is making the soul drain mission really hard. Especially when a Time Warrior taunts them, they should follow him unless he runs pretty far away. I think the fix here is to increase the aggro range, and also, if a Time Warrior uses Taunt, it should have an even bigger aggro range so they are the best “pullers”.
yeah i do agree with that, the taunt should be the top tier “pull” skiil IMO
