Unique items feel underwhelming
Any ideas you have on how things could be improved, fixed, or add more fun to the experience
What if our pocket watch could suck the item into it adding the unique power as a skill in the pocket watch tree. The player upon next level or resetting the skill tree could choose to add a skill point investing in that unique item. This would be permant and the player would need to find the unique again if they swap pocket watches. This would give the player access to some truely “unique” build choices but not overpowered as the item is still rare and hidden behind rng.
This also removes the underwhelming nature of finding a low level unique and it being useless.
